Image 1 "One of my earlier square crop b/w waterscapes. Shot on a very special evening with amazing light. To me, the composition here is probably perfection. The curves, the lines throughout the image just works wonderfully together. The way the clouds and the reflection of them on the water forms arrows leading you deeper into the frame. I like to use "invisible" lines in my photography to form connections between items in the frame. I think this is one of the most important things in photography. Compositional lines..."
Image 2 "Definately not one of my most popular shots, but nevertheless, a shot that means much to me personally. Shot in Lofoten (northern Norway) on a rainy late August morning. The light that got through the thick layer of clouds illuminated the scene in such a great way. Especially on the mountainside in the distance. The feeling of being so close to the elements, so far north in the world was just spectacular. Again, you'll see lines (I hope) connecting the beach, the rocks, the clouds (rain) and the mountains. Strong diagonal lines is always something I try to find and use. Also, this is probably one of the more decent shots I got out of Summer 2008."
Image 3 "Another square crop. This time in color. A great shot I think and it portrays the magic of natural lighting. This is what you get when you keep visiting the same location over and over again. In the end, you get what you've dreamed about. Marvellous light coupled with the drama of the fast-moving clouds, the ice breaking up. Spring. One of the two great times of year (together with fall). Clear, cold air is almost always the best to shoot under. Optimal conditions."

Image 1 "One of my first long exposures...  I appreciate particularly the composition, the luminance and contrast,  the opposition of the graphics of the scene, and softness of water and clouds. A moody end of day zen quality."
Image 2 "Moodfy early morning scene, a difficult place to photograph. I had to return several times, to get the delicate light, the right tide level, the clouds, and person that walks on the pontoon while moving.  This photo illustrates for me the patience of the photographer with long exposures."
Image 3 "A lucky photo of a place that I love, where I often meditate or dream.  The picture of the perfect mirror, and of an ideal light. I like the depth created by the perspective, an effect that I research still in these square compositions."

Image 2 "Again, the stillness and quietness of this image seems to reflect another time in my life, where I was finally coming out of a long period of heartbreak. For me, the long exposure seems to slow things down and take the viewer into another dimension."

Image 1 "This one is one of my all time favorites. My husband drove me to the North sea to see the old german bunkers, but the weather was bad and it rained all the time. We never saw the sun, and just minutes before the rain I saw this boat, and made him stop the car. I ran out and managed to get this shot just before the rain began again. I have done minimal edit to it, so I think it's one of the shots that truly shows my skills behind a camera "
Image 2 "A recent shot of mine, but it's perfect in my eye.
The rocks looks as if they where just dropped there. My cable release started to act up, and I got so mad that I nearly missed this shot, but I am so happy I got it. Personally I absolutely love the long exposure b/w shots, and this one is no exception."
Image 3 "This is my baby. I took this picture while she was sleeping. I called her name, and she looked up - CLICK! And I got it the first time. She was not pleased because I scared her, but I think the shot shows why I love her so much."
